Latitude 41 Pinot Noir 2004
This wine is made from a selection of Nelson and Marlborough grapes. The result is a full bodied wine that has layers of fruit flavours that are associated with the different soil types and climatic conditions in these areas. A bouquet of obvious cherry fruit with slight vanilla and spicy overtones in the background. Aged in premium French oak for twelve months. On the palate a mouth filling structure with richness among flavours of berry fruit, cherries and toasty vanilla oak. Nice length and crispness. Zork cork closure. Limited release. $13 glass, $38 bottle.
